A bad winter? Persimmon seeds?…… What?

Persimmon(non_astringent_&_astringent)

Persimmon seeds – clean the seeds and split them open (I use needle nose pliers); they split easier if allowed to dry a bit. Look at the cotyledon inside the seed. It will look like a spoon, knife or fork. The spoon means lots of snow (scoop); the knife means bitter cold (lots of ice to cut) and the fork means changeable weather.
